If you need to be hard at work, but you still want to wear a feminine style, this pattern is for you. I wore gauchos to perform my janitor duties at a Daycare center in a previous career. I gave them an elastic back waist band and 70s styled patch pockets.
They have a zipper and hook and eye on the side. This pattern looks good in most any sturdy cotton. (e.g. – ordinary prints, poplin, twill, and denim).
This is our “Classic” version, so the fabric is included in the price. If you are looking for a less expensive option, and want to supply the fabric yourself or choose from our shop selections, check out the “Budget” version.

- General skirt or pants size
- Waist
- Hips
- Center – from top of front waistband down the center seam to top of waist band in back of a comfortable pair of slacks or culottes in your closet
- Length from waist to below knee hem
