Cox Sisters

This is a classic that has been required for an Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) style of Christian Schools. My mother taught in one briefly and remembers it. It has one large box pleat in front and one large box pleat in back and zips shut on the side. I try to give it just a little elastic in the back to help ease the fit. This looks best in crisp poplins.

Sizes: Young Miss (12-18)

Please note: #12 and #13 are the same pattern. The difference is whether or not you want me to provide your fabric. #12 is a budget listing and the fabric is not incuded.

For #12, you can either mail me some special print you want used or you can put one of our “shop selections” in your shopping basket and I will use that fabric to make your order. Please make sure your fabric selection is large enough before adding it to your cart.

Average fabric needed (at 42 inches wide):

• 2 yds. per Miss 12-14;
• 2.25 yds per Miss 16-18

For #13, fabric is included in the price.

We will need a couple measurements. Please include these in the "Notes" section of the checkout page.

• General skirt or pants size
• Waist
• Hips
• Center – from top of front waistband down the center seam to top of waist band in back of a comfortable pair of slacks or culottes in your closet
• Length from waist to below knee hem
• For #13, please indicate color choice: any blue, Navy, tan, brown or black. These are usually in stock in the warehouses, and I will let you know if they are out of your preferred color.
